Abstract We study the intermediate inflation in mimetic Dirac–Born–Infeld model. By considering scale factor as $$a=a_{0}\exp (bt^{\beta })$$ a = 0 exp ( b t β ) , we show that some ranges of parameters b and $$\beta $$ model is free ghost gradient instabilities. scalar spectral index, tensor tensor-to-scalar ratio this compare results with Planck2018 TT, TE, EE + lowE lensing BAO BK14 data at 68% 95% CL. Warped Wilson Line DBI Inflation
We propose a novel inflationary scenario in string theory in which the inflaton field is aWilson line degree of freedom in the worldvolume of a probe Dp-brane, in a warped flux compactification. Kinetic terms for Wilson line fields on the world volume of a D-brane take a nonstandard DiracBorn-Infeld (DBI) form. Thus, we work in the framework of DBI inflation. This extends the original slow roll...
متن کاملDBI inflation in N 1⁄4 1 supergravity
It was recently demonstrated that, when coupled to N = 1 supergravity, the Dirac-Born-Infeld (DBI) action constructed from a single chiral superfield has the property that when the higher-derivative terms become important, the potential becomes negative. Thus, DBI inflation cannot occur in its most interesting, relativistic regime. In this paper, it is shown how to overcome this problem by coup...
متن کاملNew DBI Inflation model with Kinetic Coupling to Einstein Gravity
In this letter we study a new class of inflation models which generalize the Dirac-Born-Infeld (DBI) action with the addition of a nonminimal kinetic coupling (NKC) term. We dubbed this model as the new DBI inflation model. The NKC term does not bring new dynamical degree of freedom, so the equations of motion remain of second order. However, with such a coupling, the action is no longer linear...
متن کاملEnhanced (p)reheating in DBI Inflation
We study preheating in DBI hybrid inflation. Preheating occurs since the matter fields are non-minimally coupled to the inflaton. Despite the coupling being small, preheating happens as a narrow parametric resonance in which matter fields and inflaton modes are exponentially created. We show that, within the approximations used, the process is very efficient at late times. The resonance stage g...
متن کاملRunning Non-Gaussianities in DBI Inflation
We study the non-Gaussianity in the simplest infrared (IR) model of the DBI inflation. We show that the non-Gaussianity in such a model is compatible with the current observational bound, and is within the sensitivity of future experiments. We also discuss the scale dependence of the non-Gaussianity. In the DBI inflation, such a feature can be used as a probe to the properties of the background...
